Leftoff has no account, so your data lives on the phone. On the old phone, open Settings › Backup › Back up now and save the file somewhere you can reach from the new phone, like iCloud Drive or Google Drive.

On the new phone, install Leftoff and choose Restore from backup, either during setup or later in Settings. Backups work between iPhone and Android.

Unfortunately not. We never receive your data, so there's no copy on our side. If you have a backup file, restore it from Settings › Backup. Your phone's own iCloud or Android backup may also have the app's data if it was turned on.

First, request an export from the other service: TV Time sends a data export on request, Letterboxd has Settings › Data › Export, and Trakt and IMDb let you download your history and ratings as files.

Then in Leftoff open Settings › Import & export and pick the file. You'll see a preview before anything is saved. Importing adds to what you already have and doesn't remove anything. Titles we couldn't match with certainty are listed so you can check them. Large film archives can take a few minutes.

Settings › Import & export creates a ZIP with your watch history, library, ratings and lists as CSV files that other trackers can read, plus a complete JSON copy.

Open Settings › Your data › Delete all my data. This removes your library, history, ratings, notes and settings from the device. Since we don't store anything on a server, there's nothing else to delete. Your Premium purchase stays with your store account.

Both remove all ads. Monthly renews every month until you cancel. Lifetime is a single payment. Prices are shown in the app in your currency.

iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Leftoff › Cancel Subscription.

Android: Google Play › profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Leftoff › Cancel.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

Open the Premium page and tap Restore purchases, making sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. If it still doesn't work, email us with the date of purchase and, if you can, the order number from your receipt.

Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them. For Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, open your order history in the Play Store and choose Request a refund.

Check that notifications are allowed for Leftoff in your phone's settings and that Settings › Notifications in the app has new episodes turned on. Episode alerts are for shows set to Watching; season premieres are for everything in your library.

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, up to two weeks ahead, and are refreshed each time you open the app. If you haven't opened Leftoff for a while, open it once to update them. Releases between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. are announced at 9 a.m.

Show data comes from TVmaze and film data from TheTVDB, both maintained by their communities. Corrections made there show up in Leftoff after a while. You're also welcome to tell us; we'll look into it.

That's the spoiler shield. Titles of episodes you haven't watched yet are hidden, except the next one. Tap a title to see it, or turn the shield off in Settings › Spoilers.

iPhone: touch and hold the home screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, and search for Leftoff. For the lock screen, touch and hold the lock screen and tap Customize.

Android: touch and hold the home screen, tap Widgets, and find Leftoff.

If you're in a region where Google's consent form applies, use Settings › Your data › Ad privacy choices. On iPhone you can also turn tracking off in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Leftoff follows your phone's language and is available in English and Turkish. On iPhone you can pick a language for Leftoff alone in iOS Settings › Apps › Leftoff › Language. On Android 13 and later, use Settings › System › Languages › App languages.
