Leftoff

Terms of Use

Effective 1 October 2026

The short version

  • Leftoff is free to use. Premium removes ads and is billed by Apple or Google.
  • The monthly plan renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
  • Your data lives on your device, so keep a backup. We can't recover it for you.
  • Show and film information comes from third parties and may sometimes be wrong.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Kerem, the independent developer of Leftoff (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the Leftoff app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled and is part of these terms.

2. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Leftoff on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, as permitted by the usage rules of the App Store or Google Play. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction.

3. Using the app

  • Don't use the app to break the law or anyone else's rights.
  • Don't interfere with our server or the data services the app relies on, for example by scraping, overloading them or getting around rate limits.
  • Leftoff helps you track what you watch. It doesn't provide, host or link to unauthorized copies of films or shows.

4. Your data

Everything you enter is stored on your device and belongs to you. Because we don't keep a copy, we can't restore it if your device is lost, reset or the app is deleted. Use Settings › Backup or the export option regularly.

5. Premium

Leftoff Premium removes ads. It's offered as:

  • Premium monthly: an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Premium lifetime: a one-time purchase that removes ads for as long as the app is offered, on devices signed in to the same store account.

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy and may vary by country. If we change the subscription price, Apple or Google will notify you as their rules require. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refund requests go to them: reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple, or Google Play's refund page for Google. Nothing in these terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law of your country.

To use Premium on another device, open Premium › Restore purchases with the same store account. If you buy lifetime while subscribed monthly, cancel the monthly subscription yourself in your store settings.

6. Ads

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. We try to keep ads away from the main parts of the app, but we're not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for the products they promote.

7. Show and film information

Titles, descriptions, episode lists, air dates and images come from TVmaze, TheTVDB, Wikidata and YouTube. TVmaze data is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. TV information and images are provided by TheTVDB.com, but we are not endorsed or certified by TheTVDB.com or its affiliates. Posters and other artwork belong to their respective owners. This information can be incomplete or wrong, and air dates can change, so notifications may arrive late, early or not at all.

8. Our rights

The Leftoff app, its name, icon and design belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them except the license in section 2.

9. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Leftoff is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data it shows will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Some countries don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes and ending

We may update the app, add or remove features, or change these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. You can stop using Leftoff at any time by deleting it. We may end your license if you seriously break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of mandatory laws in your country of residence and can bring a claim in your local courts.

13. App Store and Google Play

If you got Leftoff from Apple's App Store:

  • These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
  • If a third party claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You confirm that you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you're not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.

If you got Leftoff from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase and use of the app.
